They say there're new Pokemon games . . .
Okay, let's all just face it. The new Pokemon generation isn't exactly getting the same attention as the previous and original ones.

Vanniluxe and Chandelure
Yes, I've heard the flying comments about how the new generation sucks now and that the Pokemon are crappy and ugly. True enough. Pokemon like Chandelure and Vanniluxe are perfect examples of what we'd call "epic fails." I mean, seriously? Who the hell would make Pokemon out of chandeliers and ice cream anyway?

Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott
Now, what I don't get is why people are criticizing the starters. I mean, sure, Oshawott looks like its face got stomped by a Lickitung and its appearance isn't exactly appealing, but the other two are perfectly fine and acceptable. Tepig's my current favorite fire starter, while Snivy has made it into my strict list of acceptable grass type Pokemon. So what's wrong?
Personally, I think it's because society is missing the "old" Pokemon, when there were only 150 species to find and catch. I've even read a certain article that said having over 500 species now kind of ruined the whole thing and that it used to be exciting before, but now, it just seems so pathetic and out of league. That may be true for some people, but a true Pokemon fan would never accept that kind of feedback.

Finneon

Burmy and its three forms
The fact still stands, though. Even I think the quality of the whole Pokemon series is kind of getting messed up. I think things started going downhill somewhere in the Sinnoh region. Half of the species were pretty cool and bad-ass, but the other half or so . . . well, let's just say that they didn't really catch my attention that much. Pokemon like Burmy and Finneon weren't exactly awesome.
But anyway, hey! At least there're still new generations coming, right? It would be HORRIFIC if the whole Pokemon series were to stop forever. *shivers*

Black and White 2
So rumors say that there're two new Pokemon games. That's right. Not just one, but TWO! The good part is that they're going to be out somewhere in June or July, which means that there's only one or two more months to go before we'll be spending our days with our gadgets in hand. The unfortunate part, though, is that the games are mere remakes of Pokemon Black and White.
Yeah, I was pretty bummed, too. Why the hell would they waste their time remaking the two recent games? I couldn't fathom it.

Reshiram and Zekrom
I have to wonder, though. Would things be the same? Or would there be new characters and different trainers and Pokemon? Personally, I liked Reshiram and Zekrom better than the Black and White 2 legendary versions.
They say that the legends of the remakes are Dragon/Ice types. Hmm . . . haven't I heard that somewhere before?
Speaking of that, I think another reason why the quality of the whole Pokemon anime is probably going down is because of the types. It'd be pretty cool if they made a Fire/Water type. Or maybe a Grass/Steel type. Something unique and unheard of before. Something that'll surely get the Poke-fans hooked and saying, "Oh, my Pokeballs!" Hell, they can even make a Pokemon with three types if they want to. I'm ready for anything they've got to throw.
Sadly, I don't think they'll be working on that anytime soon since, for the millionth time, they're about to release Pokemon Black and White 2.

Gengar frames you in the Pokemon Square
I'm not sure if this is real or merely made by Poke-fans, but they say that there're new PMD games as well. PMD stands for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Sound familiar to you? I'm sure I'm not the only one who cried at certain scenes while playing the previous PMD games. I practically wailed like a baby at the scene where [Your character] and [His/her partner] had to go and hide as fugitives in PMD Blue/Red Rescue Team because of being framed by Gengar.
Or the time when Grovyle had to go back into the future in PMD Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky.
Yup, I've always been a huge Poke-fan. So when I heard about the new PMD game, you could be sure I jumped out of my chair in excitement. The names of the new games are PMD Crusaders of Shadow/Light and PMD Salvation's Crusade.
I don't know when they're going to be released yet (or if they're even real, for that matter), but I can't pretend that I'm not psyched. Anything related to Pokemon instantly gets me energized and pumped up. It's like being recharged. Whenever I hear something about Pokemon, my ears instantly listen to the conversation, and even when the people talking about it are only whispering, I can hear them perfectly.
So call me crazy, but I absolutely love Pokemon.
